Biography:
My first guitar was a present from my grand father when I was 4. I started taking classical guitar lessons from the player Roberto Fabbri when I was around 10, but music wasn't my priority yet so I quit studying my instrument. At the age of 15 I had the luck to listening to Deep Purple's album "Made in Japan" and from the first listening I was totally entranced by that sound, so I choose to learn how to play like Ritchie Blackmore. I started to take lessons from Mats Hedberg, who loved the English band too. After some year of studying with Mats I've tried to keep learning on my own, studying Ritchie Blackmore's style and playing in several Deep Purple cover bands. I currently study guitar with Ludovico Piccinini, a man to whom I owe the passion for Jazz/Fusion music and the big part of personal developments in the last years. In addition to Ritchie Blackmore, the guitarists I follow the most are Al Di Meola, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steeve Morse, Paul Gilbert, Frank Gambale… ed many others. In 2010 I've played with Ian Paice ( Deep Purple ) during a special blues night at Locanda Blues in Rome. In 2011 it starts a new milestone joing DragonhammeR.
